How to create a QR code

Today we are going to show you how to create a QR code . We already explained that in these codes you could link all kinds of content, and we told you how you could scan it with your mobile device. Well, now what we are going to do is learn how to generate one of these QRs to insert addresses, text messages or whatever you want.

Creating a QR code is relatively easy, because with a simple Google search you can find dozens of alternatives. We are going to use one that is simple and so that we can all understand the process. In addition, as it is a website adapted to mobile phones, you can use it both from your computer and from your Android or iPhone.

How to create a QR code

The first thing you have to do is enter one of the pages that allow you to create one of these codes, such as qr-code-generator.com . In it you will see that you are offered several options to create the code from a web address, a text or directions to application stores.

If, for example, you want to make a QR code that takes the person who scans it to a web address , choose the URL option in the top bar (1). Next, in the Website (URL) text field, write the address of the web you want to point to (2), and finally click on the Generate QR code button (3) that you will see in green at the bottom.

Once you have generated the code, it will appear on the right side of the screen. Press the green Download button below to download the image with the code , and once you download it you can print it, add it to other images or pass it on to whoever you want. Above the Download button you will have several options to download it in JPG, EPS or SVG format.

You can do the same process with the rest of the options, such as making the user send an email when scanning the code. The page that we have used will ask you to register to generate some QRs like those that save images or links to application stores, but as we said at the beginning, the Internet is full of alternatives.
